Language requirements
Our programmes are delivered and assessed in English and therefore a sufficient level of English proficiency is required to meet our admission requirements. This can be demonstrated in multiple ways, please see the information below.
Applicants are welcome to apply without submitting a recognized English language certificate. However, if admitted to a programme and English proficiency is specified as a condition in their offer letter, the student will be required to provide a certificate from one of the listed English language examinations with a satisfactory score. This certificate is a prerequisite before we can furnish the necessary documentation for the visa application process.
Exemptions
Applicants who have completed their secondary education or university studies in one of the following countries with English as the sole language of instruction are exempt from additional English language requirements:
Australia, Canada, Ghana, Ireland, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Applicants qualifying for an exemption may still be required to present a recognized English language certificate for visa purposes to Irish Immigration authorities.
If you feel you qualify for an exemption based on education not mentioned above, please mention it in your application and we will take it into consideration.
