American College Dublin welcomes transfer students. Students who wish to transfer to ACD must submit their transcripts from their current college. Transfer credits can only be given for courses that the student has fully completed and passed. Students who wish to transfer must supply their transcripts and the course outlines or syllabi from their previous college. This allows the Admission Office to assess their application.

Transfer students should always make a direct application to American College Dublin. Applications to transfer to ACD may take up to ten working days, once all documents have been received. International students are not normally allowed to transfer into the final year of a course. International students may be able to use a lower qualification, for example a national diploma, from their home country to gain advanced admission to one of our degree programmes. Every student is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
